License agreement

Summary

• A one-time purchase, not a subscription.
• Use it on two computers, with one spare activation for reinstalls.
• Every 1.x update is included.
• The videos you make with it are yours, including for paid client work.
• Do not share, resell or publish Velocity or your license key.

The summary is for convenience. The terms below are the agreement.

1. What you get

This agreement is between you and Barta Levente egyéni vállalkozó ("we"). When you buy Velocity, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and perpetual license to install and use the Velocity extension for Adobe Premiere Pro on up to two computers that you own or control. The license allows three activations in total, so a reinstall does not lock you out.

If you bought Velocity for a company, the company may assign the license to one person, who may use it on two computers.

2. Activation

Velocity may ask you to activate it with the license key from your Gumroad receipt. Activation sends the key to Gumroad's license service to confirm that it is valid. After activation, Velocity works without an internet connection.

3. What you may not do

• Share, sell, rent, lend or give away Velocity or your license key.
• Publish or distribute Velocity, its files, or any modified, unlocked or repackaged version of it.
• Remove or work around the activation or license check.
• Decompile, reverse engineer or copy the code, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.
• Use Velocity's code, curves or presets to build or train a competing product.

4. Your work stays yours

Everything you create with Velocity, including edits, exports and client projects, belongs to you. We claim no rights over your media or projects, and Velocity does not upload them anywhere.

Velocity itself, including its code, curves, presets, interface and documentation, remains our property and is protected by copyright. This agreement gives you a license to use it, not ownership of it.

5. Updates

All 1.x versions are included in your purchase. A future major version (2.0 and later) may be offered as a separate paid upgrade; the version you bought keeps working under this license.

6. Warranty and liability

We build and test Velocity carefully, and every action it takes in Premiere Pro can be undone. Even so, software can have bugs: save your project before large changes and keep backups.

To the extent the law allows, Velocity is provided as it is, and our total liability for any claim connected to it is limited to the price you paid. This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to harm to life, body or health, or to any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Nothing in this agreement limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.

7. Ending the license

The license lasts as long as you follow this agreement. If you break it, the license ends automatically and you must delete all copies of Velocity. If your purchase is refunded or charged back, the license ends as well.

8. Law and contact

This agreement is governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
